NAMED AS ONE OF THE “Who’s Who in America for 2022-2025”
and “Who’s Who Women of Influence 2023-2024”
BY THE MARQUIS WHO’S WHO PUBLICATION BOARD
Kathi was born and raised in Pasadena, CA and for a few years lived in Hawaii as a young child. Kathi found her way to commercial real estate via a non-traditional route. While attending the Annenberg School for Communications at USC, she worked in property management for her family's shopping center, Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo. She went on to work at Arthur Andersen LLP for the Worldwide Director of the Entertainment & Hospitality Division, in the marketing department, specifically dedicated to the Entertainment team. After graduating USC, Kathi began her 20+ year career in corporate America in the legal field working for some of the most prestigious law firms in the country, such as Latham & Watkins, Munger Tolles & Olson and WilmerHale.
Kathi brings a unique perspective as having been the co-owner of various retail and hospitality ventures including the famous Twin Palms restaurant, Big Daddy’s Bar & Grill, the Premier Jewelry Mart and several hospitality ventures. Kathi truly enjoys working with business owners/entrepreneurs and represents a handful of prestigious clients such as World of Dance Studios, the Langham Huntington Hotel, Innova Medical Group, and Boy Scouts of America to name a few. Kathi is a part of the illustrious Team Ukropina and specializes in office and retail and skillfully represents Buyers and Sellers as wells as Landlords and Tenants.
Last but not least, Kathi is a proud mother of two amazing children, Alexandria and Michael. Both are graduates of Arcadia High School, with one having graduated from the Marshall School of Business at USC and the other from Pasadena City College.
